Former Brazil and Barcelona star Rivaldo says Lionel Messi is not the greatest footballer of all time despite winning his seventh Ballon d'Or award this week.

Messi beat out competition from Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski and Chelsea midfielder Jorginho to claim his seventh title.
There are many who feel the Paris Saint-Germain is the greatest of all time, while others have reserved that tag for Diego Maradona or Pele.
Rivaldo, who won the Ballon d'Or in 1999, feels Messi is in the top three but not outright greatest of all time.
"He will be remembered as one of the best players ever, but it's tough to say he already is the best, as he is still chasing a World Cup title with Argentina," the former Brazilian striker told Betfair.
"Other players, such as Pele, won the World Cup many times so I don't think Messi should be considered the best ever.
"He is up there, though, and would make the top three."
