Reports suggest that Spanish giants Real Madrid have agreed a total fee of €72 million (R1.3 billion) to sign Brazil's latest teenage star.
Ronaldo Responds To World Cup Walkout Rumours
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Los Blancos are willing to meet Palmeiras' asking price for 16-year-old starlet Endrick, who now looks poised to become the latest young attacking talent to make his way to the Santiago Bernabeu.
As a result of the young star still being just 16 years old, though, it is understood that the reigning LaLiga champions will pay the transfer fee in instalments until the end of the 2023/24 season, when the attacker turns 18 and is eligible to move abroad.
While it seems that Los Merengues are on course to sign the sensation, who already has three goals in seven senior appearances for Palmeiras, the European champions have had to fend off the likes of Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona to land the Brasilia native's signature.
Should the transfer be confirmed, Palmeiras will get €60 million (R1 billion) from the sale, while Real have also agreed to pay €12 million (R218 million) in transaction taxes, according to Romano.
