Head coach Carlo Ancelotti has addressed the touchline tantrum thrown by out-of-favour midfielder Marco Asensio during Real Madrid's comprehensive 4-1 win over Mallorca in LaLiga on Sunday afternoon.

The 26-year-old has faced an uncertain few months at the 14-time UEFA Champions League winners after it appeared he was close to a departure in the recently passed transfer window. Asensio has featured only twice since the new campaign got underway – once in the league and once in Europe – with both appearances being short cameos from the bench amounting to just 17 minutes of game time.
The Spaniard, whose importance at Real has dwindled in recent years following his promising start to life in the country's capital, saw his slow start to the season continue at the weekend when he was overlooked by Ancelotti in their victory over Mallorca.
Asensio, who came through the ranks at Mallorca, was seen losing his cool as it became clear he was not going to be called upon by Ancelotti as a second-half substitute. According to reports, he threw his bib on to a seat before kicking something on the ground.

The 29-time Spain international then carried on his tantrum by slamming an object on one of the seats next to him, actions that saw Ancelotti choosing to sympathise with the player instead of adding fuel to the fire.
"Asensio's anger for not playing? I agree with him, so I'll keep it in mind," he said, according to the Daily Star.
The attacking midfielder has played 237 times for the Spanish giants since his arrival in 2015, contributing to 73 goals in all competitions.
