Amid the 2018 FIFA World Cup, there have already been many massive transfers. Here are the 10 most expensive deals of the current window, including the second-biggest transfer in football history.

Kylian Mbappe has been the sensation of the World Cup so far, and he has also been the most expensive player of the current window after his initial loan deal was made permanent, with Paris Saint-Germain paid a whopping €180 million (R2.9 billion) to Monaco for his services.

This massive fee makes him the second-most expensive player in history, only beaten by Neymar's €222 million (R3.6 billion) world-record move to the French giants.

Monaco were also involved in the second-costliest deal of the window, selling Thomas Lemar for €70 million (R1.1 billion), while Naby Keita joined Liverpool from RB Leipzig for €60 million (R960 million).

Manchester United's €59 million (R944 million) acquisition of Fred is the fourth-most expensive deal of the window so far, followed by Fabinho's €50 million (R800 million) transfer from Monaco to the Reds.

Real Madrid splashed out a combined fee of €90 million (R1.4 billion) for 17-year-old duo Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo, who cost €45 million (R720 million) each, while Juventus bought right-back Joao Cancelo from Valencia for €40.4 million (R647 million).

Douglas Costa's initial loan deal was made permanent by Juventus, and they transferred €40 million (R640 million) to Bayern Munich, while Radja Nainggolan's €38 million (R608 million) switch from AS Roma to Inter Milan completes the 10 costliest deals of the window so far.
