The club has already signed former Benfica goalkeeper Ederson and ex-Monaco winger Bernardo Silva in the off-season, and reports suggest they are looking to bring in more talent ahead of the 2016/17 campaign.
Portugal attacker Silva became the club's fourth most expensive transfer in history, according to Transfermarkt, while Ederson's transfer fee was seemingly undisclosed.
England internationals Raheem Sterling and John Stones – the only English players in the 10-man list – both feature above the newly purchased Silva.

Germany winger Leroy Sane is in fifth place, with South Americans Nicolas Otamendi, Robinho, Fernandinho and Sergio Aguero below him. Current Roma forward Edin Dzeko also features.
