Spanish giants Real Madrid have reportedly accepted a £52.9 million (R874 million) offer for Colombian international James Rodriguez.
Man Utd Target Keen On Mourinho Reunion
According to Spanish publication Don Balon, Los Blancos have accepted the massive bid from Serie A side AC Milan for their star player, but there is a slight twist to the tale.
It is believed the Colombian playmaker has rejected the opportunity to talk to Milan because he prefers a move to Manchester United.
The 25-year-old is expected to leave in this transfer window as he has failed to secure a regular starting spot under Real boss Zinedine Zidane.
Paris Saint-Germain and Inter Milan are also said to be interested in Rodriguez, but know they are unlikely to get him if United come calling.
Los Blancos president Florentino Perez claimed on Tuesday that, although there have been numerous reports of players who could be leaving the Santiago Bernabeu, including Cristiano Ronaldo, there has been no bids.
"We haven't received offers for anyone this summer," Perez told Onda Cero.
"Not Cristiano (Ronaldo), not (Alvaro) Morata – not James."

Rodriguez made 33 appearances for Real last season, scoring 11 goals and assisting 13 further strikes.
