Africa's Player of the Year is reportedly trying his best to get Spanish giants Real Madrid to come in and bid for him.
International Transfer Round-Up
According to Marca, Gabon international Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang still has a big desire to one day play for Los Blancos, despite there being no negotiations taking place at the moment.
There have been rumours that the forward would leave the Bundesliga this season, but no move has materialised. It is believed the Borussia Dortmund star has told his club that his heart is set on moving to the Spanish capital.
Aubameyang is aware that Real recently brought Alvaro Morata back from Juventus, but that has not scared him off from his desire to joining the club and fighting for a place in the starting XI.
No talks have taken place between Dortmund and Los Blancos over a possible move just yet, and with the transfer window closing on Wednesday night, it is unlikely anything will happen.
Reports: Real Star Linked With Surprise EPL Switch
Real currently have Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema and Alvaro Morata in the forward positions, so they are not expected to go into the market for another striker anytime soon.
