While all attention was on speculation that Cristiano Ronaldo wanted to leave the club, Real's representatives have worked hard in the background to secure Florentino Perez's targets.
According to Marca, Los Blancos have reached verbal agreements with both Kylian Mbappe and Gianluigi Donnarumma, and it is now up to manager Zinedine Zidane whether or not the deals go through.
Real are reportedly prepared to pay up to €110 million (R1.6 billion) for the Monaco wonderkid, and believe this will be enough to lure him to the Santiago Bernabeu.
Donnarumma would apparently require a fee of €30 to €35 million (R507 million) for a successful transfer after it was confirmed that he will not extend his contract, which expires in June 2018, with AC Milan.
