The former Manchester City and Liverpool forward was impressive for Nice in France last season, despite being sent off three times during the campaign.
Balotelli vowed to work hard in Ligue 1 after he left Liverpool, and after scoring 17 goals in 28 matches across all competitions in 2016/17, there seems to be a belief that the Italian is determined to fulfil his potential.
According to French publication Nice-Matin, the striker is now ready to sign a new deal at the club – his initial contract with Nice was only a one-year deal.
The Italian has also been linked with Spanish club Las Palmas, where he was reportedly keen to reunite with his former AC Milan teammate Kevin-Prince Boateng.

Nice's fans took well to Balotelli last season, and with the striker hungry to keep proving himself, they could be in for another entertaining campaign.
