The Belgian seemed to be in Louis Van Gaal's plans for the season, having started the majority of the side's opening games.
Januzaj also was also on target against Aston Villa, as they secured a 1-0 win at Villa Park.
However, the 20-year-old will spend the rest of the 2016/2015 season at the Bundesliga outfit and he is looking to achieve great things from this campaign.
"Borussia Dortmund are a great club, the fans here are supposed to be really incredible. I want to achieve great things with the team," Januzaj told the club's official website.
Dortmund are currently top of the Bundesliga standings, after winning their opening three games.
