With Neymar apparently on the verge of signing a world record deal with Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain, here are the reported fees around the Brazilian's proposed move.
Reports: La Liga Will Not Accept PSG's Bid For Neymar
The 25-year-old handed in a transfer request at FC Barcelona on Wednesday, with the Blaugrana confirming that the French side will need to meet the player's €222 million (R3.4 billion) buyout clause.
According to The Guardian, Neymar will sign a five-year deal with the Ligue 1 club, and earn about €30 million (R471 million) a year after tax.
That means the superstar will be receiving €2.5 million (R39 million) a month, or €645 000 (R10 million) a week, in Paris.
The Brazil international star will also receive a signing-on fee worth €50 million (R785.5 million), while his father and his agent, Pini Zahavi, will also apparently share a €38 million (R596 million) payment for their work in facilitating the transfer between the two clubs, according to the abovementioned English publication.
