According to the Daily Mail, the Brazilian is ready to sign a two-year deal with the Citizens, while other English publications have reported that Alves has already agreed a deal with the club.
Chelsea were also said to be interested in the 34-year-old's services, but it is believed the former Blaugrana star is set on reuniting with his ex-boss.
Alves has reportedly told Juventus he wants to move to the Premier League, which means his current contract in Italy would have to be mutually terminated as there is still one more year left on it.
Despite his age, the Brazil international is still widely considered as one of the best right backs in the world following a successful campaign with the Bianconeri.
