The transfer window continues in full swing after FC Barcelona announced their most expensive fee of the window – here is an update on the most expensive deals so far.

The Catalan giants recently signed Real Madrid target Andre Gomes for an initial fee of €35 million (R551 million), plus another reported €20 million (R315 million) in add-ons.
However, Transfermarkt only look at initial fees, which means Gomes enters the 10 most expensive deals of this window ranking in only the ninth position.
Hulk's €55.8 million (R878 million) transfer from Zenit St Petersburg to Chinese club Shanghai SIPG is still the most expensive deal to date, while Arsenal's acquisition of Granit Xhaka for €45 million (R708 million) is the second highest purchase.
The only other new entry in the 10 biggest deals of the window so far since our previous update is N'Golo Kante's €35.8 million (R563 million) transfer from Leicester City to Chelsea.
