With football becoming arguably the most lucrative sport in the world, a number of billionaire-businessman have invested their wealth in the Premier League, but who are the club owners in England's top-flight?

Reigning champions Manchester City are regarded as one of the world's wealthiest clubs, which can be directly linked to their owner, Sheikh Mansour. The 49-year-old is a member of the Royal Family of Abu Dhabi and boasts a reported worth of $30 billion (R468 billion).
The Emirati royal's pot of goal far outweighs any of the other EPL club owners, with Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich, who bought the Blues in 2003, ranked second with a bank balance said to be in the region of around $12.4 billion (R193 billion).

Stan Kroenke rounds out the top three, with the current Arsenal owner worth $8.7 billion (R135 billion), ahead of Guo Guangchang of Wolverhampton Wanderers and Aston Villa's Nassef Sawiris who boast values of $6.7 billion (R104 billion) and $6.4 billion (R99 billion), respectively.
Other notable names on the rich-list include the Glazer family, who own Manchester United and are worth $4.7 billion (R73 billion), and Liverpool's John Henry who ranks 11th with a purse of $2.7 billion (R42 billion).
