Young and Alli were in involved in a spat in the 30th minute of the game, after the United left back claimed he was hit in the face by Spurs right back Serge Aurier. Alli got involved and went head to head with Young, before they were separated by players from both sides.
The two hurled words at each other after being reprimanded by match referee Jon Moss, and Manchester Evening News has claimed that Alli said to Young: "Retire with a Zimmer frame."
Young, 32, laughed off Alli's remarks and apparently replied: "Let me know when you win the Premier League."
The former Watford star has lifted the league title, the FA Cup, the League Cup and the UEFA Europa League trophy during his time at Old Trafford, while Alli is yet to claim any silverware in his career so far.
After the game, Young seemingly could not resist mocking Alli via social media, saying "talk is cheap".
