Following a drastic decline in game time recently, there have been new developments in the future of Manchester United star Marcus Rashford.
According to the Guardian, the England forward is pondering his future at Old Trafford following a diminished role since Ralf Rangnick's arrival.
The same reports suggest that the 24-year-old is unhappy with the current situation, and, if no resolution can be found, he could give serious consideration to leaving his boyhood club.
Rashford returned from a shoulder operation two months into the new season, however, the forward is yet to find his best form.
Since the German's arrival, he has been reluctant to play his No. 10, with Rashford only starting two Premier League games out of the 11 United have played since 27 December 2021.
Although being utilised in cup competitions, having started against Aston Villa and Middlesbrough in the FA Cup and Atletico Madrid in the UEFA Champions League, the Englishman has been scarcely used in the league, coming off the bench six times in 2022.
Rashford's deal runs until the end of next season but the Red Devils have an option to extend it by a further year. He has been unable to establish himself at United despite the loaning out of Anthony Martial and the erratic starting positions of Cristiano Ronaldo and Edinson Cavani.
The England international has even fallen behind his fellow academy graduate Anthony Elanga in the United pecking order.
Any clarification from the club would be appreciated by the 2016/17 UEFA Europa League winner, who is one of United's most valuable assets.
