Manchester United are reportedly on the verge of signing a star midfielder for R744 million.

According to the Daily Mail, the Red Devils are set to wrap up the signing of 18-year-old Portuguese talent Renato Sanches.
The Benfica midfielder is believed to be on his way to the English club in a deal worth £46 million (R744 million).
The report claimed that the Portuguese club's president, Luis Filipe Vieira, was in England recently to discuss a transfer, which looks likely to be completed in the upcoming weeks.
United are believed to be paying £31 million (R501 million) up front for the promising player, with £15 million (R242 million) to come in add-ons.

The Old Trafford club are also reportedly now interested in signing Borussia Dortmund's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
