Manchester United have confirmed the signing of Anthony Martial from Ligue 1 side Monaco for a massive fee of £36m.

The 19-year-old, who has been compared to French legend Thierry Henry, has signed a (number)-year deal, and has made 70 appearances for Monaco, with a goal ratio of one in every four matches.
Martial was released from France's national team training camp in order to "travel to England to sign a contract with Manchester United", according to French media.
I am so excited to be joining Manchester United. I have enjoyed my time at AS Monaco and I would like to thank them and the fans for everything they have done for me," Martial told the club's official website.
"I have always wanted to play in the Premier League and to join the biggest club in the world is what every young footballer dreams of. I am looking forward to meeting my new team-mates and working with Louis van Gaal who has achieved so much in his career.

The striker has made seven appearances for Monaco this season, scoring one goal and assisting two more.
