Jose Mourinho's Shocking Home Record Revealed

Jose Mourinho's Shocking Home Record Revealed

Sir Alex Ferguson (1986-2013) – 72%

Jose Mourinho has the worst home record for a Manchester United manager in 44 years, and it's even worse than David Moyes and Louis van Gaal's.

United have lost only one match at home this season, and are currently 20 Premier League games unbeaten. But instead of all being rosy at the club, fans and experts have become impatient with the large number of recent draws the team has played to.

Of the Red Devils' 20-match unbeaten run in the league – the current best in any of the top five European leagues – 10 of those games ended in a stalemate.

The team's poor home record, in particular, has hindered Mourinho's men from fighting further up the table, and threatens their qualification for next season's UEFA Champions League.

United have won just six league games at Old Trafford this season, drawing nine and losing one – a run that gives Mourinho a 37.5% win ratio at home.

That's the worst record since the club was relegated in 1973/74, as pointed out by ESPN. Even Moyes (44%) and Van Gaal (68%) had better ratios.

Under Mourinho, United have dropped points at home against Manchester City (1-2), Stoke City (1-1), Burnley (0-0), Arsenal (1-1), West Ham (1-1), Liverpool (1-1), Hull (0-0), Bournemouth (1-1), West Brom (0-0) and Everton (1-1).

The Red Devils' next league game at Old Trafford is against EPL leaders Chelsea, but they travel to Sunderland before that encounter.
