Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has had a lot to say about critics in recent weeks, but a club legend has come out and urged the Portuguese tactician to "shut up and to get on with his job".
Mourinho Breaks Fergie's Impressive Man Utd Record
The 54-year-old has also drawn a lot of criticism in past weeks for taking a defensive approach in big games, the latest against Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur.
Former Red Devils captain Roy Keane, who is now a television pundit, has told Mourinho not to worry about what people have to say about him or his team, and instead focus on the job at hand.
"My only concern about Mourinho is that he seems to be distracted by the so-called critics out there," Keane said on ITV's Champions League Show, as quoted by the Daily Express.
"He is probably paid eight, nine or 10 million pounds a year to focus on your own job. Rise above it. Mourinho should be better than that, but he seems to be quickly upset.
"Shut up and get on with your job. You are getting very well paid for it."
Why Lukaku Didn't Take Penalties
Mourinho's side is currently in second place on the Premier League log, and first in their UEFA Champions League group.
