With Portugal international Joao Felix joining Chelsea from Atletico Madrid this week, the shirt number he has been handed has been revealed by the Blues.

On Wednesday, the Stamford Bridge-based side announced they had successfully landed the 23-year-old's signature in a loan deal until the end of the campaign.
Felix, who was a key player for Portugal at the 2022 FIFA World Cup, endured a difficult start to this season in LaLiga, with reports suggesting his relationship with head coach Diego Simeone has soured in recent months.
The former Benfica playmaker has since decided to accept a short-term contract at the Blues, where he will hope to rediscover his best form in the No. 11 jersey.
Chelsea confirmed Felix's number on their website and social media pages, a jersey number previously worn by high-profile attackers such as Damien Duff, Didier Drogba and Pedro.

The Atleti loanee has reportedly been registered in time to be named in the London club's squad to take on Fulham in the Premier League on Thursday night.
