Highest Wage Bill Of Premier League Top Six Revealed

Manchester United reportedly spent a staggering £352million on salaries during the 2018/2019 season, which is more than any top six side in the Premier League.

According to the Sun, the Red Devils took in a total of £627million and their wage bill equated to 56 percent of the club's wages-to-revenue ratio.

United's wage bill rose from the 2017/2018 season where the club paid out £296million with a revenue of £590million.

Alexis Sanchez - on loan at Inter Milan - is reportedly United's highest-paid player with a weekly wage of £505,000 including bonuses.

The Sun adds that the Reds Devils have a staggering 11 first team players who earn more than £100,000 a week, while Marcus Rashford's recent contract renewal sees him earn £200,000 per week.

Cross-town rivals Manchester City come in second on the list after paying out £315million on wages for players and staff last season.

London giants Chelsea complete the top three with £315million last campaign, although that could decrease for the current season after losing the services of Eden Hazard.
