The match is scheduled to get underway at 16h00.
The Blues head into the encounter on the back of a penalty shoot-out loss to Arsenal in the Community Shield last weekend.
Chelsea will be without Victor Moses (suspended), while Pedro will miss the clash through injury.
Burnley, on the other hand, ended their pre-season with a 2-1 win over La Liga outfit, Celta Vigo last weekend.
Sean Dyche has a clean bill of health, with Dean Marney being the only absentee due to a long-term injury.
