The Premier League has reportedly come to a decision over the proposed banning of certain transfers to particular English teams.

According to the Metro, earlier this week, clubs in England's top division voted on banning loan transfers between teams with shared owners, but the rule was not overturned as votes were split 13-7.
For laws such as these to be passed, there needs to be a minimum of 14 votes, meaning that it fell just short of being implemented before the January transfer window.
This comes after there were intensifying rumours that Newcastle United could lure Al Hilal star Ruben Neves to St. James' Park in the next transfer window.
Along with being the majority stakeholders of the Magpies, the Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund is also the owners of Al Hilal, Al Nassr, Al Ahli and Al Ittihad.
The aforementioned Middle Eastern giants boast a plethora of quality talent with the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar, Karim Benzema and Riyad Mahrez all members of those respective sides, and a loan move to Newcastle for any of the players would likely be a seamless process.
The Magpies will be desperate to bring in reinforcements in the upcoming window as they are currently in the midst of an injury crisis, while new big-money star Sandro Tonali was recently suspended for breaching betting rules, leaving the English outfit short in numbers.
The Tyneside outfit is, however, not the only Premier League side that is part of a multi-club ownership system, with Chelsea, Manchester City and Brighton Hove Albion having also been at risk of being affected by the mooted rule change.
