Result: Hull City 2-3 Chelsea
Date: 22 March 2015
Venue: KC Stadium
Loic Remy struck in the 77th minute to hand Chelsea a 3-2 win over Hull City at KC Stadium on Sunday evening.
Chelsea got off to the perfect start in the second minute, as Eden Hazard created space for himself before unleashing a sublime effort into the top corner.
Hull should have been level a minute later when Abel Hernandez sprung the offside trap but he could only fire straight at Thibaut Courtois.
Jose Mourinho's men then doubled their lead in the ninth minute courtesy of Diego Costa's wonderful finish from a tight angle, after collecting a pass from Cesc Fabregas.
Hull reduced the deficit in the 25th minute, as Ahmed El Mohamady turned home Andrew Robertson's cross at the far post.
And the home side were level a minute later when Courtois's attempted clearance landed at Hernandez's feet and the Uruguayan fired into an empty net from 12-yards out.
Courtois had to be at his very best in the 65th minute, first to deny El Mohamady from close range, before pulling off a double save to keep out Gatson Ramirez and Jake Livermore.
City eventually restored their lead in the 77th minute when substitute Loic Remy turned home Willian's low cross, two minutes after he replaced Costa.
Mourinho's men managed to see off a late surge from Steve Bruce's side to claim the win and move six points clear of Manchester City.
