Zlatan Ibrahimovic did not feature in United's last two matches, but has returned to the line up for today's clash.
Liverpool, meanwhile, have hit a bit of a bump in recent weeks, having gone winless in their last three matches in all competitions.
Philippe Coutinho returned to action during the League Cup on Wednesday, although top scorer, Sadio Mane is away at the Africa Cup of Nations.
These two sides last met in October at Anfield, with the match ending in a goalless draw on a Monday night.
