Arsenal's impressive home run continued as they emphatically beat Huddersfield Town 5-0 at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday evening.
The Gunners got off to the best possible start when they scored as early as the fourth minute through Alexandre Lacazette's clinical finish.
The move set the tone for the match as Arsenal remained dominant and surged forward on a regular basis.
Lacazette fancied his chances again in the 32nd minute after rounding goalkeeper Jonas Lossl but a tight angle prevented the ball from finding the back of the net.
Despite Arsenal's constant pressure, they only managed to go into the break with a 1-0 lead, threatening to be more in the second half.
Huddersfield were struggling to keep up with the pace and Arsenal capitilised with Mesut Ozil playing through Olivier Giroud who found the back of the net in the 69th minute.
Just a minute later, Ozil was on hand with yet another assist, this time for Alexis Sanchez who slotted home to give Arsenal a 3-0 lead.
The German international was having a glorious four-minute spell as after dishing out two assists, he found the back of the in the 72nd minute to make it 4-0 to the The Gunners.
Giroud completed his brace in the 88th minute after putting away an effort well set-up by Sead Kolasinac to complete an emphatic 5-0 victory in front of their home crowd.
