Diego Costa has been linked with a surprise move to the Premier League after parting ways with Atletico Madrid.
Costa is now a free agent after surprisingly terminating his contract with the LaLiga leaders this week.
Reports in Spain claim that the 32-year-old asked to end his stay in the Spanish capital with six months left of his deal for personal reasons.
As a result, the Times claim that Wolverhampton Wanderers have kept an eye on the Costa situation as they look to bolster their attack in the absence of Raul Jimenez.
Jimenez has been sidelines after suffering a bad head injury in the against Arsenal earlier this month, which has seen the young Fabio Silva lead the line for Wolves in recent weeks.
Former Tottenham Hotspur striker Darren Bent feels Premier League clubs should looking to sign the Brazilian-born forward.
"Especially now his contract has been ripped up and you don't have to pay any money for him," he told talkSPORT.
"Spurs would take him, Wolves would, even someone like Everton on the off chance something happens to [Dominic] Calvert-Lewin."
