The French tactician has been out of management since ending his 22-year spell as manager of the Gunners in 2018.
Wenger has still been involved with football as he serves as FIFA's chief of global football development but it seems there could be a return to the dug-out.
Reports in Switzerland are now linking Wenger with a move for the Swiss national side, who parted ways with Valdimir Petkovic after the 2020 European Championship.
It is believed the Swiss are eager to fill the vacant spot as soon as possible with the hope of guiding the team to the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
The report adds that Wenger is the Swiss FA's top choice and the former Gunners manager is thought be interested in the role.
Wenger spent 22 years in North London and helped the club to three Premier League titles and six FA Cup titles.
