Arsenal have always had a massive following in Africa, and this could be down to the many Africans who have represented the club over the years.
At the moment, the Gunners have Mohamed Elneny and Alex Iwobi representing Africa in their team, while the likes Lauren, Kolo Toure and Nwankwo Kanu are the only Africans among the 15 who have won the Premier League title.
Iwobi, who has received a huge praise for his performances this season, is the nephew of one of Africa's best players ever – Jay-Jay Okocha.

Three Ivorians have represented the London club over the years: Kolo Toure, Gervinho and Emmanuel Eboue. Yaya Toure would have represented the Gunners, but he failed to impress Wenger during a trial with the team.
