With only one year left on his current deal, Robert Lewandowski's future with Bayern Munich looks to be up in the air.
Two Footballers Die In Ukraine
The Poland hitman has admitted he has not yet made a decision regarding his immediate footballing future, but is open to all possibilities.
The 2021 Ballon d'Or runner-up seems to only be getting better with time as he continues to shatter goalscoring records, and has already found the back of the net 39 times in 33 appearances across all competitions for Bayern this season.
The Pole, however, has yet to sign an extension with the Bavarian giants, leading to the idea that the Bundesliga's top goalscorer (with 28 strikes so far in this campaign) could be on his way out.
"I am open to everything. I'm quiet," he said when speaking to Sky Sport Deutschland.
"It is important for me to be able to focus on my game, always on what can happen in the last match. Everything that remains to be done regarding the contracts is a secondary issue and remains in the background."
The German top flight is all Lewandowski has known since leaving his native Poland at the tender age of 21 in 2010, and he could be yearning for a new challenge in his football journey.
He represented Borussia Dortmund before leaving Signal Iduna Park for Munich in 2014, and looks on course to win his 10th Bundesliga title.
Now 33 years old, any transfer the forward makes will be relatively short-term, but that is not expected to detract suitors from pursuing his signature, with a number of elite European teams in the mix for his services.
Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United, Manchester City and Real Madrid have all been linked with the striker in recent times.
