Manchester United are said to have agreed personal terms with one of football's rising stars in Jadon Sancho, who has been linked with some of the world's biggest clubs in recent times.
According to Sport, the Red Devils have been able to convince Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho to join them, beating the likes of Chelsea and FC Barcelona in the race for his signature.
While there is yet to be any official word on this, Sancho's future is said to have all but been decided ahead of the next campaign, although there is no indication as to how much United will pay BVB for his services.
Bleacher Report has also reported that the English side is ready to agree terms over a deal worth £200 000 (R4.5 million) a week for the winger.
According to the same publication, the 20-time English league champions could spend up to £100 million (R2.2 billion) to sign Sancho.
German journalist Raphael Honigstein has also addressed the rumours, saying that: "Manchester United can't promise titles to (Jadon) Sancho straight away, but they can promise him to be the leading star in a new team that is emerging. From what I've been told, that is quite appealing to him."
The England star has played 35 matches across all competitions for BVB so far this season, scoring 17 goals and assisting a further 19 strikes.
