This past weekend, on-loan Bayern Munich star Philippe Coutinho reached a milestone only four other players in football's history have achieved.

Coutinho scored his first goal for the Bundesliga giants on Saturday, when he netted in the club's 4-0 win over FC Koln, scoring from the penalty spot after he had drawn a foul from Kingsley Ehizibue.
In doing so, the Brazilian midfielder became only the fifth player to score in LaLiga, the Premier League, Serie A and the Bundesliga after Obafemi Martins, Jonathan de Guzman, Bojan Krkic and Kevin-Prince Boateng.

The 27-year-old achieved the feat after previously netting three times during his spell in Italy with Inter Milan, scoring 41 times in the Premier League for Liverpool, and hitting the back of the net 18 times in LaLiga for FC Barcelona (13 goals) and Espanyol (five goals).
Coutinho's teammate Robert Lewandowski, who scored twice in the Bavarians' win on Saturday, also made history by equalling Peter Mayer's record set in the 1967/68 season when he scored his ninth goal in the opening five matches of the campaign.

Coutinho joined Bayern Munich on a season-long from Barcelona at the beginning of the season for a reported fee of €8.5 million (R139 million), plus wages.
