Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has responded to the links with Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland, whose father used to play for the Citizens.
The Citizens are reportedly one of the sides looking to sign one of the football's brightest talents after his exploits for Dortmund over the past year.
The Premier League leaders will get a first-hand look at Haaland after being drawn against Dortmund in the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals.
"He's a player from Dortmund. I don't like when people talk about our players. You understand I cannot answer this question," Guardiola said, as per Goal.
"The numbers speak for itself. He's one of the best strikers in the world right now at his age.
"I saw a few games, I didn't have much time but the highlights, the numbers in the Champions League and the league are impressive.
"I know the quality of this player, everybody knows."
