Former Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has been without a job since December, but that could all change quickly as he has reportedly been contacted by one of Europe's biggest clubs.

The Portuguese tactician currently works as TV pundit, but Olympique Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas stated last week that he rejected an approach from the Ligue 1 club because "he has already chosen another club".
SPORT BILD has now reported that Borussia Dortmund have kept an open relationship with Mourinho and could attempt to lure him to Signal Iduna Park.
Current coach Lucien Favre has come under pressure following an average start to the 2019/20 campaign, with Dortmund's bosses said to be insisting on silverware.

Favre has a mammoth programme on the cards, with BVB facing Inter Milan twice in the UEFA Champions League, Schalke in the Revierderby, Bundesliga leaders Borussia Monchengladbach in the DFB Pokal, and second-placed Wolfsburg and eternal rivals Bayern in the league over the next few weeks.
The German publication claimed Dortmund could look to Mourinho to replace Favre should things go bad for the Swiss manager.
"I find the Bundesliga interesting," Mourinho told SPORT BILD in a recent interview.
"I admire the work of Dortmund and the club's attempt to compete with a giant like Bayern Munich."

Mourinho also revealed that he has started studying German, but would need to cut back on his salary expectations if interest from Dortmund becomes more concrete.
