Although he was said to idolise Cristiano Ronaldo growing up, Erling Haaland has left the Manchester United forward out of his list of who he believes the three best strikers in the world today are.

The Norway international is among the most ruthless goalscorers in football today, but even he has players he admires and whose footsteps he would like to follow in.
This season, Haaland has notched an incredible 23 goals in just 20 matches for Dortmund, while his overall career tally has long surpassed the century mark despite being only 21 years old.
In a recent interview, he was put under the spotlight as he was asked to name whom he believes are the best three forwards in world football, and it is perhaps surprising that he left Ronaldo out of the conversation.
Last year, Haaland's agent Mino Raiola listed four clubs his client could join at the end of this season:
"Top three in the world," he told ESPN.
"You have to say (Robert) Lewandowski is number one and then for me you have (Karim) Benzema, he's also been amazing, but (Lionel) Messi is also outstanding.
"So Benzema and Messi share second and third place."
It has been a rewarding 12 months for those mentioned in Haaland's list, with Lewandowski having scooped up The Best FIFA Men's award earlier this month and Messi having claimed the Ballon d'Or in November last year.
