Mane Picks Up Injury As Bayern Thrash Bremen

Bayern Munich 6-1 Werder Bremen

Bayern Munich proved too strong for Werder Bremen after registering a 6-1 victory at the Allianz Arena on Tuesday night.

Jamal Musaila opened the scoring for Bayern on six minutes before the visitors levelled mattes through Anthony Jung four minutes later.

Bayern were then dealt a blow on 20 minutes when Sadio Mane just a couple weeks before Senegal's World Cup campaign gets underway.

After Eric-Maxim Choupo Moting missed a penalty, Bayern ran riot in the later stages of the first half as Serge Gnabry bagged a quick-fire brace while Leon Goretzka also got his goal.

Gnabry completed his hat-trick in the 82nd minute, before 17-year-old Mathys Tel got his second goal of the season two minutes later.

Wolfsburg 2-0 Borussia Dortmund

Borussia Dortmund saw their three-game winning streak come to an end after losing 2-0 to VFL Wolfsburg on Tuesday evening.

Micky van de Ven gave the home side an early lead after finding the back of the net on seven minutes with his first goal of the season.

Former Manchester City striker Luka Nmecha put the nail in the coffin by grabbing Wolfsburg's second goal in the first minute of time added on.

Bochum 2-1 Borussia Monchengladbach

Bochum ended a run of back-to-back defeats after securing a 2-1 victory over Borussia Monchengladbach.

Christopher Antwi-Adjei put the hosts ahead on seven minutes before Philipp Hofmann doubled the lead in the 11th minute.

Alassane Pléa pulled one goal back for Gladbach in the 66th minute,

Stuttgart 2-1 Hertha Berlin

Stuttgart struck late in the second half to secure a 2-1 win over Hertha Berlin on Tuesday night.

Stuttgart got the early breakthrough as Serhou Guirassy bagged his fourth league of goal the season in the third minute.

Dodi Lukebakio brought Hertha back on level terms in the 19th minute with his seventh goal of the league campaign.

The game was seemingly headed for a stalemate until the home side popped up with the winning goal via the head of Dinos Mavropanos in the eight minute of time added on.
