Bayern Munich bounced back from the shock loss to Bochum with a 4-1 thrashing of Greuther Furth on Sunday afternoon.
Bayern may have thought it was going to be another tough afternoon when Branimir Hrgota handed the visitors the lead on 42 minutes.
However, Robert Lewandowski pulled Bayern level a minute after the halftime break before an own goal from Sebastian Griesbeck put the hosts ahead on 61 minutes.
The Bundesliga leaders took control late on as Lewandowski added his second before Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting completed the rout in second-half stoppage time.
Bayern remain four points clear of Borussia Dortmund after 23 matches played, while find themselves at the foot of the table, nine points adrift of the relegation/play-off spot.

Borussia Dortmund 6-0 Borussia Monchengladbach
Borussia Dortmund secured the spoils in the Borussen derby after humiliating Borussia Monchengladbach on Sunday evening.
Dortmund, who were still without Erling Haaland, went two goals ahead in the first through Marco Reus and Donyell Malen.
The hosts then took over in the second half as Marius Wolf, Youssoufa Moukoko, Emre Can and another Reus goal completed the rout.
