Bayern Munich climbed to second spot on the Bundesliga table with a 5-0 thrashing of Freiburg at the Allianz Arena on Sunday night.
The defending champions broke the deadlock on 13 minutes through Serge Gnabry, before Eric Choupo-Moting doubled the advantage in the 33rd minute.
Leroy Sane added the third goal in the 52nd minute to continue his fine start to the season, while Sadio Mane extended the advantage for the Bavarians three minutes later.
Marcel Sabitzer rounded off the scoring for the Julian Nagelsmann's side, who leapfrog Freiburg into second spot.
Union Berlin 2-0 Borussia Dortmund
Union Berlin cemented top spot in the Bundesliga with a 2-0 win over Borussia Dortmund on Sunday evening.
Janik Haberer got the home side off to a good start when he opened the scoring after just eight minutes.
The lead was doubled in the 21st minute, with Haberer completing his brace which also proved to be the final goal of the game.
Dortmund find themselves in eighth position after 10 minutes, while Berlin sit pretty at the top of the standings.
Cologne 3-2 Augsburg
Colonge got back to winning ways in the league after defeating Augsburg 3-2 on Sunday afternoon.
Steffen Tigges netted a brace for the hosts while Denis Huseinbašic also found the back of the net.
Florian Niederlechner and Daniel Caligiuri found the back of the net for Augsburg, who end the weekend in 12th position.
