RB Leipzig 2-1 Freiburg

RB Leipzig secured Champions League football for next season after defeating Freiburg 2-1 on Saturday afternoon.

Timo Werner opened the scoring on 19 minutes before Vincenzo Grifo restored parity on 66 minutes.

However, Leipzig secured the win with 12 minutes remaining, with Emil Forsberg converting a penalty secure their top three place.

Fortuna Dusseldorf 4-1 Werder Bremen

Fortuna Dusselfdorf proved too strong for Werder Bremen after romping to a 4-1 victory on home soil.

Goals from Benito Raman, Kenan Karaman, Rouwen Hennings and Markus Suttner guided the hosts to the emphatic win.

Hannover 1-0 Mainz

Hannover kept their survival hopes alive with a 1-0 victory over Mainz at the HDI-Arena.

Hendrik Weydandt got the game's only goal as Hannover now sit three points adrift of the play-off spot with three games to go.

Eintracht Frankfurt 0-0 Hertha Berlin

Eintracht Frankfurt cemented fourth spot despite playing to a goalless draw by Hertha Berlin on Saturday.

The visitors ended the game with 10 men after Lukas Klunter was shown a straight red in the 80th minute.

Stuttgart 1-0 Borussia Monchengladbach   Stuttgart moved six points clear of the bottom two spots after defeating Borussia Monchengladbach 1-0 on Saturday evening.   Anastasios Donis scored the game's only goal after 56 minutes as Stuttgart remain in the play-off spot.
