Werder Bremen 3-0 RB Leipzig

RB Leipzig dethroned Bayern Munich at the top of the table after thrashing Werder Bremen 3-0 on Saturday night.

Willi Orban broke the deadlock after 13 minutes, before Marcel Sabitzer doubled the advantage in the 35th minute.

Marcelo Sarrachi sealed the win in the latter stages of the second half, while Leipzig also finished the game with 10 men after Konrad Laimer was shown a straight red card midway through the half.

Bayer Leverkusen 2-0 Union Berlin

Bayer Leverkusen bounced back from their UEFA Champions League loss this week to defeat Union Berlin 2-0 at the BayArena.

Kevin Volland got eh scoring underway on 20 minutes before Lucas Alario sealed the second goal five minutes later. 

The visitors also finished the game with 10 men following the dismissal of Sebastian Polter, who was shown a straight red card just six minutes after his introduction in the second half.

Hertha Berlin 2-1 Paderborn

Hertha Berlin registered their first win of the season with a 2-1 triumph at home to Paderborn.

Javairo Dilrosun and Marius Wolf put the home side ahead, while Ben Zolinski netted the consolation for the visitors in the second half.   Freiburg 1-1 Augsburg
  Freiburg and Augsburg settled for a share of the spoils after playing to a 1-1 draw at the Schwarzwald-Stadion.   Lucas Holer put Freiburg ahead after 23 minutes before Florian Niederlechner restored parity for the visitors.
