First-half goals from Lucas Alario and Karim Bellarabi were enough to get the job done for Leverkusen, while Vladimir Darida's strike for Berlin proved to be consolation.

A brace from Takuma Asano steered the visitors to victory and cancelled out David Raum's 54th minute strike for the home side.
