Bayern Munich moved above Borussia Dortmund into second position with an impressive 4-1 drubbing of RB Leipzig.

Robert Lewandowski gave Bayern the lead in the 20th minute from the penalty spot. Jamal Musiala and Leroy Sane made it 3-0 within the first ten minutes of the second half.

Konrad Laimer pulled a goal back in the 58th minute for Leipzig but Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting restored the three-goal lead in the first minute of stoppage time. The Red Bull outfit, meanwhile, are in 10th position with just one win and three defeats from four matches.

Erling Braut Haaland grabbed a brace as Borussia Dortmund claimed a 4-3 come-from-behind victory over Bayer Leverkusen at BayArena.

Leverkusen took a 2-1 lead into the half-time interval courtesy of strikes from Florian Wirtz and Patrik Schick with Haaland getting Dortmund's goal.

Julian Brandt made it 2-2 but Moussa Diaby put the hosts back in front, However Raphael Guerreiro and then Haaland - from the penalty spot - completed a fantastic turnaround for the Borussians.

Wolfsburg ran out 2-0 winners over Furth to make it four wins from four in the Bundesliga.

The Wolves enjoyed over 70 percent of the possession and Lukas Nmecha gave them a tenth minute lead but the result wasn't comfortable until the first minute of stoppage time when Wout Weghorst found the back of the net as Wolfsburg are the only side to have a one hundred percent winning record in the league.

Mainz continued their impressive start to the season with a 2-0 win away at Hoffenheim.

Jonathan Burkardt and Marcus Ingvartsen got the goals for Mainz in the 21st and 77th minutes respectively as they made it three wins from four in the Bundesliga and move into third position.

SC Freiburg grabbed a dramatic late equaliser to snatch a point in a 1-1 draw with FC Koln.

Anthony Modeste gave Koln the lead in the 33rd minute but then the visitors had Florian Kainz sent off in the 74th minute, allowing Freiburg back into the game as centre-back Rafael Czichos put the ball into his own net in the 89th minute.

Union Berlin and Augsburg played to a goalless draw.

Union Berlin had 61 percent of the possession but Augsburg still had 14 shots in total as they posed a threat with their counter-attack but are still looking for their first win of the season.
