Borussia Dortmund 4-0 Bayer Leverkusen

Borussia Dortmund jumped to the top of the league table with a comprehensive 3-0 win over Bayer Leverkusen at Signal Iduna Park.

Dortmund, though, can be displaced from pole position RB Leipzig and Bayern Munich in action later on Saturday night.

Goals from Paco Alcacer, Raphael Guerreiro and a brace from Marco Reus handed Dortmund their third win of the season and at the same time Leverkusen suffered their first loss as they drop to fifth on the table.

Augsburg 2-1 Eintracht Frankfurt

First half goals from Alfred Finnbogason and Florian Niederlechner handed Augsburg their first league victory of the season after beating Eintracht Frankfurt 2-1 at the WWK Arena.

The win lifts Augsburg out of the relegation zone while Frankfurt drop to eighth place on the table

FC Koln 0-1 Borussia Monchengladbach

Borussia Monchengladbach moved into the top six on the league table after a single first half goal from Alassane Plea handed them a 1-0 win over FC Koln at the RheinEnergie Stadion.

The loss for FC Koln sees them hoovering dangerously one place above the relegation zone.

Mainz 2-1 Hertha Berlin

Mainz moved off the bottom of the table when they earned their first three points after beating Hertha Berlin 2-1 in a relegation scrap at the Opel Arena.

An 88th minute goal from Jerry St. Juste handed Mainz their first win of the league season to see them move in 16th place and at the same time saw Hertha Berlin drop to the bottom of the log.

Union Berlin 1-2 Werder Bremen

In a highly entertaining match which saw three goals and two red cards, Niclas Fullkrug scored a second half goal to hand Werder Bremen a 2-1 win over Union Berlin as both teams occupy the middle of the table.
