Bundesliga outfit Hoffenheim have expressed their displeasure at Bayern Munich for the manner in which they signed their young striker.
German striker Armindo Sieb reportedly completed a medical on Tuesday and will join the Bundesliga champions in the 2020/2021 season.
Bayern have been notorious for getting players on pre-contracts in the past, but Hoffenheim sporting director Alexander Rosen was not pleased with how Bayern went about their business this time.
Hoffenheim claim they did not give the Bavarians permission to go ahead with the medical, especially during the coronavirus outbreak.
"Against the background of the current coronavirus crisis with all its limitations and challenges, I don't have the words for such behaviour."
Sieb, who has been dubbed as the mini-Gnabry, is Bayern's second signing for the next season, with Schalke shot-stopper Alexander Nubel set to join the club.
