Borussia Dortmund To Include Youssoufa Moukoko In UEFA Champions League Squad

Borussia Dortmund have confirmed that Cameroon-born striker Youssoufa Moukoko, who is only 15 years old and has earned comparisons with Lionel Messi, will be registered for their UEFA Champions League squad.

While the likes of Erling Haaland and Jadon Sancho are among the players fans are excited to see starring for the Bundesliga giants this season, there is a youngster emerging from the club's youth ranks who has already been compared to six-time Ballon d'Or winner Messi.

Moukoko, who turns 16 in November, has taken youth football in Germany by storm, scoring 134 goals in 86 games for Dortmund's U17 and U19 sides.

Many believe the Cameroon-born forward, who represents Die Mannschaft at U20 level already, will be a part of Dortmund's Bundesliga side as soon as he is eligible next month, although it has been confirmed he will also be named in the club's European squad.

In August, striker Haaland admitted he had not seen a 15-year-old as talented as Moukoko, saying: "He's a lot better than I was when I was 15."
