Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc has responded to rumours linking Erling Haaland with a move to Real Madrid.
The Norwegian striker enjoyed a breakout 2019/2020 campaign, during which he bagged 44 goals across all competitions and won the 2020 Golden Boy award.
That form has reportedly caught the eye of Los Blancos, who have been looking to bolster their attack in recent years.
However, Zorc has now poured cold water on speculation that the 20-year-old could make the switch to Madrid any time soon.
"I will see him with us for a long time."
Zorc also has no issues with the expectation levels many have placed on Haaland this season, despite his age.
"You don't have to ground him at all," he added.
"He exudes such a positive dynamic. Why should we slow it down now?
"He is leading the way, that is very good for us. I do not believe in artificially slowing positive developments."
