In light of widespread speculation around Erling Haaland, Borussia Dortmund's CEO has reportedly provided a timeline as to when the Norwegian's future will be decided.
Haaland is arguably the most in-demand forward in world football right now, with a host of elite European clubs looking to procure his services.
Real Madrid are believed to be the club most likely to come out triumphant in the race for the 21-year-old's signature, although the likes of Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester City and Barcelona are also said to be interested.
Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke has now seemingly given a time frame on when the public can expect a resolution on his star player's footballing future.
"It (Haaland's future) will certainly be resolved in the next few weeks, maybe a month, maybe six weeks," he said during an interview with RLT News.
The eight-time Bundesliga champions' chief also insisted that the club will continue to function without their clinical marksman should he depart Signal Iduna Park.
"If he decides to leave, we will deal with it the way we always have," Watzke added.
"We have lost a few goalscorers in the past: Robert Lewandowski, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
"We will find someone new again."
Despite reportedly being inspired by Premier League legends such as Jamie Vardy and Robin van Persie, the striker is said to have made it known that he wishes to ply his trade in Spain at some point.
