The Bavarians have announced that interim manager Hans-Dieter Flick has been appointed to the role on a permanent basis, signing a new three-year contract with the club until 2023.
Flick was placed in charge at Bayern in November last year for the remainder of the season following the dismissal of Niko Kovac, and after winning 18 of his 21 matches in charge, has now been handed the full-time job.

"I'm looking forward to taking on the upcoming tasks along with my staff and the team," Flick told Bayern Munich's official website.
"The talks with Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, Oliver Kahn and Hasan Salihamidzic were very good and in a spirit of good faith. We've determined the direction for the upcoming years. I'm sure we can achieve a lot together."
