Bayern Munich chief executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has responded to reports claiming the Bavarians and Manchester City are set for a major swap deal.
Bayern have made their interest in City winger Leroy Sane public at the start of the season, although no bid was forthcoming.
There were reports recently claiming there was a swap deal on the table that would see Bayern get Sane for David Alaba, whose agent is looking to show off the full-back to Europe's other elite sides.
"As I've heard, rumours are circulating that we would like to hand David Alaba over to Manchester City in exchange for Leroy Sane," Rummenigge told TZ.
"In addition, I say very clearly: This is Grimm's Fairy Tale and has nothing to do with reality."
When asked if Alaba's agent had proposed the swap deal, he added,"I would like to say very clearly that this is not an option for Bayern at all, we are not in the bazaar."
